It's only sunday, I have tomorrow off, and it's already been a sweet weekend. Saturday to Toona-town, after Christine and I took in some of mom's grub (go figure she wouldn't NOT cook) Chris joined us and we headed to the Curve game. I'm not much of a baseball person, but it was nice for something different to do.

And... if you are willing to go above the general admission tickets you get to sit in the Rail King section - with TVs! So, we didn't miss the beginning of the Calgary/Tampa Bay game. Woohoo - Calgary showed up to play and did some ass-kicking. After finishing up at the game time for Al's Tavern and some munchies to finish watching the Calgary game.

TV hockey is cool, but live hockey is so much better, it's somethingn that can't be explained. Even my ex got into hockey after I finally got him to go to a live game. That said, despite the early hour, getting up to watch Chris play at Galactic Ice was sweet, even if he did booger up the attempt to tie the score, we'll forgive him.

OKAY - as an addendum, since I was so skillfully whined at by Chris "Goal-Flubber" Thompson: Note that he did manage to score (there's a first) and tossed in an assist earlier in the game.
