My hatred for Walmart and Circuit Schity has been put to the test. Do I go to Walmart to buy a CD knowing full well that they censor and are a royal mess to navigate. Hells no. So where else do I buy a CD in this god-forsaken town? I check the Schity's website and Type O Negative's album Dead Again (set for release tomorrow) is listed at $8.99. After a arduous telephone call I discover that yes in fact the price onsite tomorrow will be the same and that the moron girl who didn't know how to answer the phone has NO clue who Type O Negative is.

The price most definitely counteracts my loathing of the Schity. Now let's see if I, and all involved salespeople, make it out of there alive tomorrow. I'll swing in after the doctor appointment with Physician's Assistant Hottie to get my copy. Not too shabby of plans for a Tuesday.

Score. I bet there will be a few irritated people at the end of the season. But I'm quite the happy camper. It was a good weekend for me indeed, unlike Roche. 3 game suspension?!

Misconduct? Are you kidding me?

Told you it was my jersey. There is one other guy I knew with blue-gray eyes, and I know what it meant when his eyes were that green. As to the question from a stranger I wish I could lie and make things as I would chose to answer, but to think someone could make that mistake is okay with me.
It was an enlightening day. When I start to come up to speed on a new project there is always a few ah-ha moments. I had one realization today that gave me direction for where I need to go moving forward and another realization that made me realize there isn't enough time to effect the necessary change. So do I allow the next weeks to trudge on as they've been or see what can be salvaged for a nice round out at the end of the effort?

Next bullet point - Ahh high school. I guess it was a repeating theme for the evening. I got home to a booklet of class rings for UMUC. I never bought a Pitt class ring so I sure don't want one from there. Speaking of high school... so there we are after the game at Denny's because, well, because I wanted a shake damnit. As we're finishing up a pack of high school boys gets seated next to us. I kid you not, the tail end of the conversation went like so:
"So what is a rhombus anyway, is that like where all the angles are the same or the sides are the same?"
"A rhombus is like a square and a diamond did it and a rhombus came out."

Three cheers for our education system.

Speaking of Cheers, how about the Chiefs finishing the Nailers 5-2. Tarabrin left the evening with four points... we need more of that for the rest of the weekend. Oh, and the Jets jerseys, bad ass, I like. Glad mine is out there getting worn.

HAHA! Your name isn't even on it - you stupid twat. I'll give him credit, he's not as stupid as I thought.

They ARE bringing back the Dodge Avenger! I am not entirely sold on the look just yet, not when next to one of the Chargers or Magnum, but... cute - cute! The price staying so low could definitely help it grow on me by the time they've been out for a few years and I'm ready for new wheels.

Fish fry last night. Blah. Gee thanks for that invite mom. Next time let's stick to sushi if you're banishing me based upon your religious convictions that ban certain meats for certain days. But I did see my old 5th grade teacher. I can't believe he recognized me and knew my name.

A good chunk of my class has finished their first exam now and things are going smoothly. I managed to get myself down to B&N between exams today to pick up a few books. Of course they didn't have ANYTHING on radar or the other topics I was there to look for. I guess there isn't much of a market for such level books in this area, thus the huge puzzles and travel sections here.

I'm home. At last. I got into PAX at midnight last night and lucked out to have an upgraded room with a jacuzzi tub. Needless to say, I didn't really care what time it was and filled the sucker up. Ahhhh. I slept well as I always do in hotels and rolled into the late morning meeting. Now, once again after midnight, I am back home. At least my Vixie is happy to see me. I think it's time to get a little extra sleep.

At least I didn't manage to contract some freakish disease while on travel just to weasel out of a week's worth of work. Hawaii is SUCH the third world country. To the list of oddities while on travel to my less dangerous location:
- A building in full blaze on the way home
- The creepy guy eyeballing me at CVS to D and V's delight
- The school bus parked in front of "Mary's", which clearly looked like a strip club.
- The grub at Vera's White Sands ... since the Tiki isn't open yet this year the Sands' grub definitely made due

Happy 8th Birthday to my Vixie! Hopefully the weather will hold out for Friday so we can go to Petco.

Remember, if you do not think one of your neighbors is odd that means you are the neighborhood wacko. I am safe once again as I noticed a Christmas tree in a large white bag in front of a neighbor's house this morning (February 26). Maybe they leave it up until lent?

I am a tired girl today. We were trapped in Wheeling rather late thanks to what appears to be over-zealous fans that decided to shank the tire on our bus. Sleeping on the way back didn't turn out as well so I have a bit of a headache and a stiff neck today now too. This is going to be a long week.

At least I'm attentive. So I am sitting here watching a little TV before Wheeling and I could swear I hear dripping. Time to investigate further. Turns out the inside of my one bedroom window had ice that is now melting, rolling down, and dripping off the ledge down the wall and onto the floor. Ugh!

I wanted to replace these two windows and the one upstairs above it last year as they are the oldest ones in the house but it got put off. I guess this tells me it will be done in the spring come hell or high water. It would be nice to have slidingn windows there instead of the ones that angle out anyhow. Maybe for those days when my AC isn't on I'll enjoy a nice breeze through the screen instead.

There always is something, isn't there. Sadly, when I have everything done I won't WANT to sell this place. Did I mention that I have a hell of a game plan for the living room redo that is in the works?

Federal and state taxes complete! If the township would actually send me the forms they'd be complete too. I guess it's time to make a telephone call. I decided to celebrate my day off and the chunk of change I should be getting in my return by doing a little bit of shopping. On what do I splurge? A new set of silverware. How lame is that? I guess it's better than thinking about my return as a curb.

The sun is out at long last today and melting off some of the snow although I'm sure it will take several warm days to see a change in the landscape of my front yard and parking area. I filled up on gas for the blower while the weather is reasonably nice so hopefully that will keep the flakes away. Speaking of flakes - didn't get the bling you wanted, eh? If I've learned one thing from my past, wake up, he doesn't want to marry you.

My topic is set for my individual assignment this semester and we have a week to finalize on our group topic. Fingers crossed. Just a few more months. I've also decided it's time to become little Miss Scare All again... close to the end of the March it shall be.
